Social Story Generator

One of our oldest clients, the learning disability charity CKUK (formerly known as Common Knowledge Glasgow) is always coming up with innovative ways to engage and communicate with it’s user base.

Last year, we delivered the CK Click website, an online magazine which has a heavily customised version of WordPress as it’s beating heart.  This website has gone from strength to strength and publishes upwards of 10 stories a week to an evergrowing audience.

We’ve also recently been involved in moving numerous CKUK websites over to the UBICMS content management system and the results can be viewed through this central portal.

The latest project we are involved in is the creation of a “Social Story Generator”.  Remember the old photostories you used to get in Jackie and Eagle?  Well, we’ve been commissioned to create a fully content managed Flash generator that will let CKUK generate stories with fully interactive audio, video and text.

It’s a fairly large undertaking, but one we’re well up to the challenge of.

I’ll keep you posted on developments.  The initial prototypes look very exciting.
